I now am convinced they are performing ALL the songs written for Follies, including those written for 1987 London. That could very well be why. Given the size and prestige of the cast, that also makes sense, as I'm not sure there's enough to go around in the normal song list for Follies. But this means adding: All Things Bright and Beautiful Ah But Underneath (**was this written for 1970 or 1987? I forget.) Uptown, Downtown Can That Boy Foxtrot That Old Piano Roll Who Could Be Blue / Little White House Bring On the Girls Pleasant Little Kingdom (all of the above are gorgeously recorded as extra tracks on the incredible Papermill cast album) and from London 87: Country House Make the Most of Your Music the other version of Loveland Social Dancing and maybe songs I don't think I've even heard of that Wiki claims were cut: It Wasn't Meant to Happen The World's Full of Girls |
