| There were 2 productions of the show that I saw in late 2019 in Massachusetts - one at the Cape Playhouse (with Andrew Keenan-Bolger) and one at the Lyric Stage Company of Boston. Both were solid, funny, but no-nonsense productions that took the characters seriously, letting the outrageous humor come from the situation, not due to actor mugging or bad direction. I hope others out here saw one or both. |
