| I thought it was a D+. A few moments of impressive singing. MANY moments of terrible, offensive staging. But overall, it's the score that is weakest link. I feel like the entire show was in ONE KEY (probably D-flat). AND the general story isn't enticing enough to warrant a full-blown Broadway musical. Two lead women should have been served better.... SKIP IT. (plus, a large amount of die hard fans quacking and hollering at every note/run above a C.) |
