When a show is so popular, and regular tickets are so consistently expensive, do you really not think that scalpers, or even just regular people, also try for the digital lottery and then sell them? You can also play the digital lottery from *anywhere*... the chances are exponentially against you with a digital lottery for a popular show compared to in-person. I would say this no longer constitutes making affordable tickets *accessible*, because there's absolutely nothing you can do besides having your finger ready when the clock turns from 8:59:59am to 9:00:00am... and hoping the app doesn't mess it up with a delay, and that of the 1000+ people who press it at EXACTLY the right instant, you are favored among the 20 or whatever it is that the algorithm app gods happen to select from that pool of 1000+ who hit it at exactly the first instant it is available to hit.

I think in-person rush and in-person lotteries are just vastly better.
