Maureen O'Hara was plenty sultry opposite leading men with whom she had chemistry, notably Alan Marshal in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tyrone Power in The Black Swan, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. in Sinbad the Sailor, and, of course, John Wayne in The Quiet Man and their other films together.
