I saw a very late preview.
Cox was good enough, but didn't surprise me. Clarkson, I thought, was far better, and didn't surprise me. Nothing wrong with any of the supporting performances, but nothing earth-shattering about them either. And since nothing in the text screams 2020s-Scandinavian-cafe-chain, I couldn't work out why the designer had apparently chosen to set the play in a branch of Ole and Steen. |
