I have to say that I think the producers priced the pre-sale appropriately. I think the $368 tickets are $349 with fees, but that only covers some rows in the center orchestra. I think all of the side orchestra is no more than $299/$318 with fees, and 5 seats down (seat E9 or E10, for example) is $199/$215.

Somewhere around Row L, center orchestra is also $299/$318, and starting in Row O, center orchestra is $199/$215. It was just a few years ago that I would have thought these prices to be outrageous -- I remember paying $269 for the pre-sale for The Music Man pre-COVID and thinking that was completely insane -- but after trying to get tickets for Merrily and Cabaret and seeing what happened with The Music Man, this doesn't seem so bad. I guess we gradually get trained into thinking that crazy prices are acceptable.

I also appreciate that the producers did what they should do with the pre-sale, which is start lower and move higher if the demand is there, rather than what the Cabaret producers did, where I believe they started with $699 or $799 for all the tables, which got lowered eventually because they weren't being sold.

The cheapest tickets are $79/$94.
