Given her immense talent, I am confident that she will bring a unique perspective to Rose, just as predecessors who were not in the Merman tradition have done. However, I would love to see her as Sally Durant Plummer in a full-scale production of "Follies" with Brian Stokes Mitchell as Ben. She performed "Too Many Mornings" at one of the Sondeim birthday celebrations and as sublime. Her soprano is ideally suited to the role as written.
