I don't think Carol was adept with a cockney accent, was she? I feel like I'd know about it if she were.
But I wonder if she ever wanted to play Lovett, or if Hal and Steve, both friends with Carol, had been approached at all (or approached them) about going into Sweeney Todd. Now that would have kept the show running for another year!
