-Stephanie J. Block and Sebastian Arcelus in INTO THE WOODS.
-Maryann Plunkett and Jay O. Sanders in THE APPLE FAMILY PLAYS and THE GABRIELS.
-Charlotte D'Amboise and Terrence Mann in PIPPIN.
-Orfeh and Andy Karl in LEGALLY BLONDE and PRETTY WOMAN.
-Lois Smith and David Margulies (I don't think they ever married, but were partners for a very long time) did several shows together over the years.
And I'm pretty sure you are only looking for examples where couples played leads or featured roles as opposed to one lead/featured and one chorus member. The example that comes to mind is Brian Stokes Mitchell and Allyson Tucker in RAGTIME and MAN OF LA MANCHA. |
