As a play, it's statistically more probable, as only one musical (Hallelujah Baby) has ever pulled off the feat. Several plays have, most recently The Lehman Trilogy. It's one of the nine, and was the longest dormant at the time of the ceremony (almost five months), not counting The Inheritance, which had to wait out the Covid stoppage to pick up its prize a solid 81 weeks after it had closed pre-Covid.
Truthfully, though, it's odds are less likely to beat Stereophonic this year...with at least Appropriate in another category helping it. |
