Don’t the producers have to pay to have the number on the Tonys? It was my understanding that was why some shows could have a number even if they weren’t nominated.
I do remember that something went wrong when Once performed on the Tonys—it was either the number didn’t broadcast from the beginning or there was a sound glitch. Whatever it was, if I had paid money to be on the show, I would have been pissed. |
