All due respect, she didn't "stand out" in the "ensemble" of Hamilton, her role/track was designed and staged to stand out. Her track was called "The Bullet", and it was intentional that she stand out, besides her dyed blond hair (and perhaps including it -- I don't imagine she'd have been able to dye it and keep it if Kail & Miranda didn't like it after seeing it or being asked for permission, or ask for it themselves).
I think actually people talking like she was just an ensemble member with nothing special to do who stood out because they have such insane star quality, when in truth it was all designed for her to stand out, is part of why she's come to come off like she's so undeniably amazing and likeable. |
