I did think the recruiters were going to bring Gary (the ousted director) back at the end—so it was a surprise that AI was selected. And the fact that AI is only really recently in the news—Spector kind of foresaw the future here also.
I did find the play novel. It isn’t the standard family drama. And subscription houses are really struggling to find an audience and stay afloat. So the play is rather relevant. Do I think it has a broadway future—no. But I think it’s worth a viewing. |
