Your own title (“Theatre Hall of Fame”) belies whatever point you thought you were making. It’s THEATRE, not just Broadway.
Charles Busch wrote a successful Broadway show (“Allergists Wife”, which ran for 777 performances), as well as several shows that played off-Broadway for years — most notably Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, Psycho Beach Party, and Die Mommie Die. He wrote the book to a legendary Broadway flop (“Taboo”) and has dedicated his life to theatre and performance.
To call his inclusion and honor a “sham” is, at once, disrespectful, dismissive, and just a shit-lousy thing to do.
