| The energy onstage and off was intoxicating at yesterday's matinee, and the projected tribute to past House Mothers a poignant start to Act II. The Perelman seems to have one hundred or so fewer seats in its Ballroom configuration than Circle in the Square had for Enemy of the People, so a move would fit well. Two dads and their high school age sons sitting in front of me appeared to enjoy its universal appeal and uplifting message. |
