I remember sort of liking this play. I was never a big Mamet fan. I liked Sexual Perversities/Duck Variations, Water Engine, and I did like that he was playing with the music of the dialogue. I hated Oleanna.
But most of his early work struck me more as acting exercises for a scene study class than as well-written plays.
