IF it makes the move to Broadway, it really needs to bring the five performers who opened it in the West End (David Cumming, Claire-Marie Hall, Natasha Hodgson, Jak Malone, and Zoƫ Roberts). It's a very clever piece of writing, but that cast gave a remarkable ensemble performance, and their work significantly elevated the (superb) material.
And within that ensemble, Jak Malone's work was quite, quite brilliant, and deservedly won an Olivier against formidable competition. |
