| The "normal real lyrics" are the German ones. I assume you mean the Blitzstein translation, which is probably the most used translation? I'm just not sure if you can really call them "normal real" lol. I suppose the most iconic version of the German lyric is on the complete recording of the piece with Lenya from the 50's, with the Moritat sung by Wolfgang Neuss. But that's audio, not video. (Among other things, this recording of the Moritat was often featured as part of a recurring comedy sketch on the Ernie Kovacs Show.) |
