You're welcome, Alan. I just realized the terrifically gifted guitarist accompanying McCartney is John Pizzarelli, who made his Broadway debut in ''Dream.''
I once hosted a cabaret benefit starring Pizzarelli, as well as Tom Andersen, Alix Korey and Ann Hampton Callaway, at Danny's Skylight Room.
John brought his bassist-brother Martin and jazz pianist Ray Kennedy, and they did such an amazing arrangement of Louis Prima's ''Sing, Sing, Sing.'' |
