| or maybe Julie Andrews has a big percentage, though she didn't do that many shows -- if we include the movies she appeared in that inspired Broadway shows. However, I don't think "Victor/Victoria" is done much anymore, as it's just not as good as the film. Also "The Boy Friend" was the NY premiere, not the London) Also Mandy Patinkin: Sunday in the Park with George, The Secret Garden, The Wild Party -- soon to be revived at Encores (NY premiere of Evita) Jerry Orbach: Chicago, 42nd Street, Promises, Promises, Carnival! (should be revived more often) Robert Preston: The Music Man, I Do! I Do!, Mack and Mabel (many revivals) Angela Lansbury: Mame, Sweeney Todd, (occasionally revived: Dear World) |
