I've never heard any lyric substitutions for "With the sheep's eye and the licorice tooth."
Loesser wrote "lickerish tooth," and he was looking for a word that suggested "lecherous" without quite saying it. But of course it's entirely understandable that if you haven't seen the text, you'd think it's "licorice." |
