It all depends on the maturity of the child.
I remember when I was five or six I saw a children’s theater version of Huckleberry Finn and I was awed. Too bad we don’t have children’s theater anymore. I remember that I was in a production years ago at the Henry Street settlement. I do remember my first musical was Camelot and my first drama was the glass menagerie with Jo Van Fleet and I loved that and it has become my favorite play. |
