Honestly, I don't know what show you saw...
Big Gay is leaps and bounds better than Titanique. It has smarter jokes, original songs, and an incredible physical production. To be fair, I LOVE Titanique, but it's not a great show - remove the Celine songs and there's not much there there. And don't get me started on Schmigadoon, that series was so old fashioned with no teeth at all. Everyone is defending it like it was great...I don't know anyone who even started season 2.
I am so glad I didn't read reviews like this one...I would have missed a show that's far better than any musical comedy currently on Broadway. |
