We briefly chatted with someone in the seat next to ours at the first preview and he said his BF was involved in the production and he said he couldn't specify any details, but confirmed there was a Plan B for that scene when walking through the theatre district is not an option (due to crowds, other events or weather.)
In the theatre, I honestly assumed it was pre-recorded, so it's pretty impressive that they pulled this off so flawlessly on their very first preview. Not just the filming, but also the sound design. They've obviously employed a very talented and capable crew backstage. I suppose the somewhat meta nature of this production will mean that if he DOES get interrupted on the street, it will only add to the experience. |
