The other 2 Guster songs were Do You Love Me? and Two Points for Honesty. I thought all three were used very effectively and thought the score as a whole was excellent. My family (including two kids 8 and 10) was all very engaged in the story and I thought there was some excellent recurring imagery in the book and lyrics.
That said, the show doesn’t seem built to transfer - which is a shame because it was much better crafted than many new musicals that make it to Broadway. |
