| The clip turns to color around 1:25 in relatively recently discovered segment during most of this enjoyable number. Miller is lovely, her singing voice, someone here said it sounded somewhat like Madeline Kahn's. (In the beginning of the clip, she's putting on an act with an accent in her speaking voice.) Miller dances with lots of energy and vitality. I love the shot from the balcony where you could see her star power from far above as she does her pirouettes all across the stage in front of the row of suitors. I love how the choreographer literally has her dancing partners with half the chorus at a time. "Sally" is actually still a very enjoyable film. | |
