Just finished watching the well-put-together, 45-minute-ish "CATS4KAMALA" event, presented by cast members of the Broadway, touring, and various other productions of "CATS" worldwide. I'm NOT posting this for political reasons, but, rather, for the wealth of theatrical talent gathered at this moment in our nation's history. Of course, the inimitable Betty Buckley starts things off, and it just flows quickly and delightfully from there. Don't miss the ending: a beautiful original choral piece, created by Christine Toy Johnson (and others)! And there's a fitting photo tribute, at the end, to the amazing Ken Page! I'm sharing this now, as they announced it would be up, at least, until the election. (If this posting unknowingly breaks the rules of this page, don't hesitate to remove it. But I was greatly touched and just felt the need to pass it on for others to enjoy!) |
