| I saw Philippe Arroyo in ''& Juliet,'' but wouldn't presume to know anything about his ethnicity. With a Spanish-sounding surname like Arroyo, I just assumed he could be of Filipino descent. (The Philippines have had a President named Arroyo.) A cursory Google search didn't turn up any info whether he, or his mom or dad are Filipino. Philippe looks like he could be Filipino, but looks can be deceiving. For instance, ''Glee's'' Darren Criss (''Maybe Happy Ending'') has talked about how he has ''passed'' largely for white in his showbiz career, when in fact he has a Filipino mother and is very proud of his Filipino heritage. | |
