STAR-STUDDED ONE-NIGHT-ONLY CONCERT OF DOMINIC FALLACARO AND ANDREA DALY’S NEW MUSICAL “NEXT” TO BE PERFORMED MONDAY, NOVEMBER 25 AT JOE’S PUB WITH LORNA COURTNEY, CIARA RENEE, TAYLOR IMAN JONES, ARIELLE JACOBS, MORGAN REILLY, CHRISTOPHER JACKSON, VERONICA JACKSON, AND MORE TICKETS NOW ON SALE For one night only, co-composers Andrea Daly and Dominic Fallacaro present a World Premiere sneak preview of their new musical, NEXT, on Monday, November 25 at 6 pm at Joe’s Pub (425 Lafayette St). A host of Broadway talent will perform songs from the in-development project, including Tony Award nominees Lorna Courtney (& Juliet) and Christopher Jackson (Hamilton) as well as Veronica Jackson (Latin Heat), Arielle Jacobs (Here Lies Love), Taylor Iman Jones (SIX), Morgan Reilly (Freestyle Love Supreme), Ciara Renee (Waitress) and more. In the near future, all romantic matches are curated by algorithm and only last two years. When one woman dares to chase more mystery in her life, she finds it in the match she’s about to lose. NEXT is an original musical about not just what it takes to find love, but what it takes to keep it, from the music teams behind Silver Linings Playbook and & Juliet. To purchase tickets, CLICK HERE or visit the Joe’s Pub website or box office. BIOS DOMINIC FALLACARO a Grammy Award-winning Producer, Composer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Brooklyn, New York. His productions and performances have been featured on numerous albums, and across film and television. He is the Musical Director, and co-orchestrator for & Juliet, for which he received his first Tony Award nomination. He won a Grammy in 2015 for Producing the Best Children’s Album, received a nomination in 2018, and his works have been featured on “Sesame Street” and the Sprout Network. His composition for the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, also received an Emmy Nomination. In 2016, he composed original music for the film Shortwave , which has since gone on to win multiple film festival awards. Additional film credits include In the Heights, and Tick Tick Boom. Dominic has appeared at almost any and every venue on the New York City scene, and has toured across the United States and abroad. ANDREA DALY is a New York-based composer, writer, and vocalist. She is composing the score for the upcoming Broadway adaptation of Silver Linings Playbook, with Rick Elice (book) and Sara Cooper (lyrics). Andrea’s first musical, Legendale (with Jeff Bienstock, book/lyrics), received its World Premiere in Europe in 2017 at Denmark’s Fredericia Theater (Disney’s Tarzan, Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame), followed by an American Premiere in Ohio the same year. In 2022, the American Theatre Wing named Andrea a Jonathan Larson Grant Finalist, and the Broadway Women’s Fund has listed her as a Woman to Watch on Broadway. Andrea trained as a composer of concert music, completing her PhD in Music Composition at Stony Brook University in New York, where she was awarded The Ackerman Prize in Music, The President’s Award in Teaching, and the university’s prestigious Graduate Council Fellowship. As a pop vocalist/songwriter, Andrea has taken the stage in numerous storied New York City venues throughout the last decade, independently releasing four EPs and signing a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music before joining the Concord Music family in 2017. She remains an active performer, freelancing as a session singer, live singer, bandleader, audio editor, and collaborating with Grammy-winning artists, producers, and engineers. In 2016, The ASCAP Foundation honored her with The Harold Arlen Musical Theatre Award. JOE’S PUB, a program of The Public Theater, was named for The Public’s founder Joseph Papp. Since it opened in 1998, Joe’s Pub has played a vital role in The Public's mission of supporting artists at all stages of their careers with an intimate space to perform and develop new work.
