I was holding back posting anything until I saw this post.
We were totally burned going to Lestat with no reviews to help make decisions. What a mess and flop that was.
We went with high expectations for this Elton John Show, having gotten rave reviews in London. We loved Aida and Billy Elliott.
I loved the score and knew that this was a first preview, so we expected some issues, but not as bad as what we saw Saturday. It was exciting being at a first preview.
There were people outside asking for opinions and I noticed many people were avoiding them. I usually would be glad to share my opinions, but I didn’t want to be negative after a first preview. |
