SHIT. MEET. FAN. Tonight

A contrived and tedious polemic. A group of hateful but privileged friends gather together and their nasty underbellies are laid bare (yes, really). SHIT. MEET. FAN. wants very, very badly to be provocative—original is hopeless—but it’s just banal. The actors are fine, but the play’s a ham-fisted heavy lift. And not nearly worth the strained effort. I’m still yawning.
