| Off-hand, the lyric "The corn is as high, as an elephant's eye" from OKLAHOMA! But probably not what you were looking for. Also, Nancy Dussault has a lyric about an elephant in "What's New at the Zoo?" from DO RE MI. There's even an elephant-sounding trumpet call in the orchestration at one point, too. (3rd one down on link, won't link directly for some reason.) |
