| Ever since reading how Wolfe was going to cast Black actors as the young newsboys and white actors as the teenage newsboys (suggesting Rose and Herbie made a decision to replace the Black performers with white ones) I was intrigued as to how the audience would react if they used the traditional strobe light transition. Usually the audience cheers this moment, but I wonder what the reaction was with this change. |
