| Quite a while ago,I bought tickets for Sunset Boulevard through Seat Geek. I very carefully checked my dates, and the site clearly indicated that Nicole Scherzinger would be playing Norma at that performance. There’s an information icon and casting notice at each date that you can check before you purchase. Fast forward several months - now I read somewhere that Caroline Bowman will be playing Norma at the performance I have tickets for. I checked. The Seat Geek website now says that Nicole will not be playing Norma at that performance. It’s 1/12 and someone told me it’s going to be Caroline's last day with the show. I don’t know if this is accurate. Regardless, I REALLY want to see Nicole. No disrespect to Caroline Bowman. I know how talented she is. Is there anything that can be done? Seat Geek’s site says all sales are final and the only recourse is to list the tickets on their resale market place. I’m not too hopeful about that. The seats aren’t great, and I’m not sure there will be a big demand for these seats, especially without Nicole. I remember that I have, in the past, been able to exchange tickets when a star is out. But that was before Seat Geek. I’m not sure if I should go to the box office and inquire? Write to someone at seat geek? Looking for any wisdom the ATC community may have. Maybe someone else has had a similar experience with Seat Geek? |
