| Well, they're ALW contemporary, not, say, Pasek and Paul or Bree Lowdermilk contemporary. But they certainly don't echo the sound either of the film noir style or the silent movie era, either of which would feel much more appropriate to the period of the show. And in fact, the score would have been infinitely more interesting if HER music sounded period even if the rest of it didn't - setting her apart in a deliberate way. |
