| I haven't seen Forman's ''Ragtime'' (1981) in many years, too, but it had quite an illustrious cast and featured James Cagney and Pat O'Brien's final film appearances. It garnered 8 Oscar nominations, including Supporting nods for Howard Rollins Jr. and Elizabeth McGovern, and Adapted Screenplay for playwright Michael Weller. But what I remember most about ''Ragtime'' is Randy Newman's beautifully evocative score and mournful waltz, ''One More Hour.'' | |
