The tenor singing opposite Radvanovsky is Brian Jagde. IMO he's very capable but can be a little un-nuanced. But certainly a major step up from the previous tenor, Freddie De Tommasso (he was heard on the pre-taped broadcast today, from the HD performance in November), who's a bit too hammy for me and tends to veer off pitch.
But this is not an opinion of Jagde last night - I wasn't there. |
