If Mary Jane had the same star, I would be more on board for this... but I don't think a few YEARS is all that short. Even the direction probably had quite a lot of differences. But the title and big lead character was played by a whole different person, in an organically new production, over 6 years later...
It just doesn't feel like a strong case for why Mary Jane was a new play and Eureka Day wasn't. |
