Question about Eureka Day for those who saw it (spoilers)

I saw it this week. Jessica Hecht gave a couple small coughs during the performance, which seemed a little portentious as the subject matter goes, but the play didn't seem to reference them at all. I wonder: maybe Hecht was just actually a little sick? I'd be curious if anyone else noticed this.
Hecht, along with all the other performers, are pretty darn fantastic in this cute little comedy of terrors.
