a) a non sequitur is something that has nothing to do with what preceded it - you asked a question about Megan Hilty while misspelling her name and Tim corrected you, which is perfectly on point - thereby proving you don’t know the meaning of non sequitur either. b) and while he did so somewhat cheekily, he did it with a smiley face - your response thus proving you don’t have much of a sense of humor about yourself (lord knows I’ve made worse typos on here than you did and been happy when someone pointed it out) c) lastly you accuse him of being supercilious - I’ve seen Tim’s posts over the years so I don’t think that’s the case, but even if it were? ‘Supercilious’ is kinda AllThatChat’s thing - so if you can’t take it, can’t appreciate a fair and accurate correction, can’t take the occasional non sequitur far worse than this one, and can’t take a joke, I’m respectfully wondering if you’re in the wrong place. I’ll answer your question though, while I don’t know her understudy, Hilty can be funny in a way very few people are. Her Galinda right out of college is still the funniest I’ve ever seen, and she reinvented the dumb blonde stetitype when she got nominated for the latest revival of Noises Off a decade ago – it’s not hard for me to imagine the show suffers quite a bit when she’s absent. |
