This post speaks to me: I'm going to see Bebe and hear Eddie do "Tomorrow Belongs to Me," the only number on the West End recording that grabs me by the throat. Per posts in this thread: I've seen every Cabaret iteration, since the first national of the original B'way staging (Melissa Hart the fine Sally, Robert Salvio the MC, Signe Hasso the Schneider - anyone else?) I always wonder if I've more to learn from the piece, and invariably the answer is: yes.
But I still miss "The Telephone Song," and always probably will. |
