It really stunts the imagination and draws focus from appreciation of the form.

Verisimilitude distracts.

:-) I know it may seem to some that I am picking on you and your mindset but I genuinely believe redemption is possible, even in non religious contexts. (Or, we might say, the theatre is a cathedral.)
