Best Musical is really tough to predict this year. A friend of mine, who's an insider, thinks that Illinoise is a lock, but I'm not so sure since it's not exactly on track to recoup. Of course, that could change if it wins the big prize.
Hell's Kitchen looks like the best bet to become a commercial hit, but it has a very slight book. I wouldn't count out either SUFFS or The Outsiders, which looks a lot better now than when I saw it on stage over a month ago. |
