This year's Best Musical on Broadway is a real tossup.

The Outer Critics Circle chose ''Suffs.''

The Drama League went with ''Hell's Kitchen.''

Drama Desk Awards: Only 2 of the 6 nominees for Best Musical are from Broadway: ''Illinoise'' and ''The Outsiders.'' Assuming one of the Broadway entries wins, which is what usually happens at the Drama Desks, that means the Outer Critics, Drama League and Drama Desk will have all split.

(Plus, the N.Y. Drama Critics Circle's choice for Best Musical was ''Dead Outlaw,'' which, of course, was Off-Broadway and not Tony-eligible.)
