| I also enjoyed the show. I wish he did more theatre songs, and fewer selections from his CDs, which are good, but a bit generic. But he's in great voice, and very charming. And a big plus - the show is beautifully directed by Michael Arden. The staging is simple, but very effective, and the design is lovely, particularly the lighting, which, given that it's a concert, takes many opportunities to saturate the newly rennovated Palace itself in bold, bright colors. It's a great way to show off the theatre, which is unlikely to happen when musicals are performed there. |
