| I saw the Kennedy Center Summer and Smoke, and also Saint's return in Desire Under the Elms. Opposite her: James Broderick and an unknown named John Ritter. Very different era of producing summer theater, as a basically stock production got a full month run in DC in its primo house in 1974. Earlier or later it also played the Playhouse in the Park in Philadelphia. Anyone else see it? |
