| I agree on all points. I was more engaged with Akhtar's take on AI which I thought was consistently clever. I do find it disconcerting that nearly all of the takes on AI by contemporary U.S. writers accept it as an existential given when the jury is still out whether it can actually live up to its Silicon Valley/Venture Capital hype technically, legally, and financially. |
