| And the couple was discussing his niece who is changing major in college from software engineering to something else. Apparently, there is a concern that software writing might not be the hot career it has been for the last 30 years because of AI. Something that had never occurred to me and I don’t know it it is actually true. But I think the implications of AI are just barely known right now. It’s like the first iphone—who really knew it would be a game changer having a handheld computer just 20 years ago. |
