| Just saw it. While I did like Downey, I agree with the other critical comments here. As one who's had to edit AI-generated prose, I felt this played like an AI-generated work! Technically proficient, but flat and generic-feeling: the estranged child, the angry mistress, the genius who's a bastard (and a phony)...I dunno, maybe that was the playwright's aim. Maybe he used ChatGPT to write this. |
